Small Samurai

Small Samurai StudentAges 4-5

At 100 Percent Martial Arts, our Small Samurai classes are designed to help young children explore the basic concepts in Martial Arts while providing an atmosphere of fun and excitement. Our primary goal with this age group is to develop critical skills like coordination, balance and strength through martial arts movement. Our Small Samurai curriculum is skills-based and focuses on earning patches rather than belts. This appoach provides the foundation upon which we build in the Core Karate program.

Since children at this age are just beginning social interaction, fundamental principles such as taking turns, self control and respect are constantly reinforced.

Free Play Area

We are excited to now offer a play room for young children which will provide a safe space conveniently off of the lobby so that parents may watch class while still keeping an eye on the little one.

Birthday Parties

100 Percent Martial Arts offers birthday parties year round at our 4,000 square foot indoor facility in Glastonbury. We open the doors to the birthday child, and his or her guests and family for a private party. [more info]
